Dr. Lisa Cox
Dr. Lisa Cox brings over 15 years construction industry, business management services, IT IP, and strategic marketing experience! She works with some of the best and brightest construction minds in the business. She has developed life-lasting business relationships and joint ventures (JV) partnerships with leaders in the construction arena who have successfully executed multi-million dollar projects.
She has in-depth experience writing winning proposals that yielded million dollar project awards. She has specialized experience in construction management services, land development, design build, mixed-use development, residential housing development, commercial projects, and working with all trades, union locals, and building customer relationships.
Dr. Cox established Briermine Construction, LLC as a 100% Minority Woman-Owned Economically Disadvantaged Small Business enterprise with vast resources and over 50 years combined construction management experience! She built this company on the foundation of many years of family-owned construction businesses. She is surrounded by subject matter experts specializing in every facet of the construction industry. These bright minds offer her their services and expertise in support of Briermine Construction, LLC at a moment notice for any project.
Dr. Cox is the spouse of a 100% service-connected disabled veteran (deceased) and is the also the President & CEO of MilVet Construction, LLC. She strongly supports the US military along with military veterans who have served bravely with honor. Both these organizations further support hiring initiatives that aid military and veterans in application for local apprenticeship training programs and employment opportunities once reintegrated from military to civilian life.

Dr. Cox holds (4) professional business degrees inclusive of a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership. She utilizes sound judgment in all professional business matters. She is a risk and cost benefit analyst, contingent planner, strategic marketing environmental scanner and methodical project manager with an eye for detail, which means On-time and Under-Budget.
She is a graduate of Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (V-WISE).
Reginald Simmons is the President and principle owner of the firm for over 20 years. Mr. Simmons has two partners; Anthony Cece and Calvin Richardson both with engineering degrees from local universities. Cumulatively, TRM, Inc. possesses over 100 years of construction related experience!

TRM, Inc. covers a broad spectrum of specialties inclusive of Home Rehabilitation. On behalf of the project owner, TRM Inc. evaluates a property by combing through it from top to bottom. They review the plumbing, electrical, furnace and roof. They further evaluate for water intrusion issues in basements and express cosmetic concerns if any exist, for example update kitchen cabinets, fresh coat of paint, and repair broken windows or missing screens. TRM, Inc. has recently purchased and renovated over 10 local properties as part of a community revitalization initiative and corporate citizenship.
TRM, Inc. differentiates itself from other property rehab companies by having a proven structural background with the ability to identify a structurally sound home or building investment where other companies are only concerned with the superficial portion of the project.
